Ahmet Atalay has been focusing on environmental sustainability issues in sports in recent years. Currently, he continues to work in Lithuania for postdoctoral research activities on carbon footprint in sports. Working in this field with Dr. Biruta, the researcher has recently managed to publish comprehensive research on environmental problems in sports in the international scientific journals.
