This Book gives a general overview on Methods for cultivation of Algae, Algae Oil Extraction by different Methods, Biodiesel production and its characteristics. Also described a Novel Design of Bio-Reactor for Cultivation of Algae using recycle water bottles. The objective of this work is to describe relevant aspects of biodiesel production recollecting material published in scientific literature as well as comparing it with practical experience. It aims at pointing out important theory regarding biodiesel properties, process characteristics and reaction mechanisms as well as its economic impact. The experimental work includes the production of biodiesel from Algae oil and Methanol by basic catalyzed transesterification. The influence of different process variables (molar ratio alcohol: oil, amount of catalyst, reaction time and temperature) on the yield of biodiesel is studied. The obtained data is compared with recent researches developed worldwide.
