Overall, this is a nice summary of a broad range of topics for students of the specialty. The second edition provides an update on management of common complications in chronic kidney disease and updates the useful appendixes. The format makes for a book that is easy to follow and informative, and the very impressive figures will allow me to use it in my daily nephrology practice. (Doody s, 6 September 2013)
