In1988, his play From Ganges to Demerary was staged atSamuell Becketts Theatre, York University, Toronto,Canada. He won the prestigious American award, TheVera Rubin Residency Award, at Yaddo, SaratogaSprings, New York. He holds an MFA degree (a mastersdegree in fine arts) and a Ph.
