Chapter one deals with the introduction of models, comprehensive and through studies on the basic concepts of Linear models. Chapter two talks on the literature review of models and explain further by the procedures and solution methods by which the linear models are solved. Chapter three gives the applications of the Linear models (and how they are interpreted to the real world after been solved) with much emphasis on manufacturing, scientific, commercial fields. Finally, chapter four: summary, conclusion, List of text books and manual consulted during the project were given. This project intends to boost the enthusiasm of the reader by going deeper into the study of modeling (i.e formulating a problem in the real world cases and applying the result in decision making). The main difficult problem in this research work is declaration of the decision variables and their interrelation. Once the assumptions are not proper, then the conclusion of the model will be faulty. Therefore, it is hoped that this research work will motivate researchers who intend to widen their horizon/study in the application of linear models in other fields and more in general (i.e non - linear models).
