In this book, we present a practical guide to develop high-quality software projects with teams of young students. This context makes development different because students have different classes, timetables and objectives, that is, they are not full-time workers. We summarize the best practices that we obtained by performing a number of software projects with our industrial partners. In Chapter 1, we present a general overview of the practical guide, which is described with details in Chapter 2. To easy understanding, we show an example project, in which we followed this practical guide strictly, as we depict in Chapter 3. Finally, we conclude the book in Chapter 4, by presenting the lessons learned and the concluding remarks.
