Zephania Shila Nkesela is General Secretary of Central Diocese, Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tanzania. The present work is a revised version of his PhD thesis at VID Specialized University, Stavanger, Norway, where he was part of VID's Maasai/Bible Project.
