Joel Nilson is a music educator and internationally commissioned composer and arranger. He studied on the Vocal Ensemble programme at Sjöviks Folkhögskola in Avesta and at the College of Music in Örebro, and is a founder member of the prize-winning a cappella vocal group Vocado. Nilson's choral works are known for their distinctive Nordic style, and are performed by choirs and vocal ensembles around the world.
