The book is divided into two parts. Part I discusses various aspects of human nature and how they have affected the way human societies have evolved as well as the way human behavior affects the amount of time during which Earth will be able to support life as we know it. Part I also offers suggestions for modifications in behavioral attitudes and ways of accomplishing tasks which will result in a more positive outcome. Part II delves into specific ways people can maintain their wellbeing while avoiding actions and behavior which threaten their own well being and/or the well being of Earth. The idea is to convince everyone that they have a vested interest in getting involved in making sure that human activities do not shorten the time during which Earth is able to support humanity and humanity is able to successfully continue their existence on Earth through procreation and through adherence to acceptable behavior.
