The growing global demand for sustainable and efficient energy systems necessitates innovative approaches that integrate renewable and conventional power sources. This study proposes and analyzes a hybrid Nuclear-Solar Power Plant (NSPP), which combines nuclear reactors with solar tower technologies to enhance energy efficiency and sustainability. A comprehensive thermodynamic assessment was conducted using the Engineering Equation Solver (EES), including both energy and exergy analyses, to evaluate the performance of the hybrid system. The energy analysis revealed that the NSPP achieves a net electric power output of 91,833 kW and an overall efficiency of 37.47%, significantly outperforming standalone Nuclear Power Plants (NPPs) and solar-only plants. Exergy analysis demonstrated substantial improvements in turbine efficiencies, with Turbine 1 and Turbine 2 achieving exergy efficiencies of 64.91% and 80.06%, respectively, underscoring the benefits of hybridization.
