The research is focused on the maintenance management carried out to the three-phase motors in the drainage stations Petróleos de Venezuela Sociedad Anónima (PDVSA) Eastern Coast Division of Maracaibo Lake, which leads to a study and subsequent analysis in search of giving an answer to the main objective of the research. Showing the research background that are closely related to the work to be done, relying on the theoretical bases that help the variable under study and characterize the dimensions and scope of the same. The present investigation was carried out based on the theoretical documentation consulted of the antecedents related to the maintenance management, as well as approaches supported in principles, concepts and terms related to the elements of the process, plans as maintenance indicators and finally the incorporation of guidelines that allowed to focus on the dimensions related to the object or variable of study. Cardozo Fagúndez, Joel Alexander Dr. Cardozo Joel is a systems engineer graduated from the UNEXPO Luis Caballero Mejías of Caracas, graduated as T.S.U. in Industrial Electricity with a Masters in Electromechanics Mention energy efficiency from the university (ISMM) Superior Mining Institute of Cuba, and Operations Management from the University of Zulia (LUZ).
