INTRODUCTION The present scientific work is directed to students of national universities as particular and in punctual form for sciences and engineering. Starting from the need to reflect that as it is the case of a University that is located in the north of Peru, there is more than 50% students get a qualification below ten out of twenty, in the curricular experience of physics, according to the unit of development, evaluation and maintenance of information systems of the National University of Santa (UDEMSI, Cred et al., n.d. - 2013). From the previous paragraph, the importance of addressing this problematic situation is rescued, which allows to propose the implementation and development of new teaching-learning methodologies, hence the competent students for work, which will develop skills and abilities of learning by competencies for the achievement of products, regulated by the university teacher, especially those who are in charge of the curricular experience, so it will be achieved to improve the high number of failed students.
