Using longitudinal data from national panel surveys, the book analyses the impact of labour market insecurity on labour market entry and early career, partnership and parenthood decisions, as well as work and family life of adult workers. This analysis sheds light on the complex interdependence of macro-level changes that impact national labour markets; certain risk profiles coupled with country of residence, gender, career maturity, and individual resources, and life course decision-making."

The Author: Katrin Golsch is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Economics, Business Administration and Social Sciences of the University of Cologne. She received her doctorate in Sociology from the University of Bielefeld.
