The Author: Karen Love lectures in Media Culture, Women's Studies, and Communications and is the Programme Manager for Digital Media at the Southern Institute of Technology in Invercargill, New Zealand. She received her Ph.D. in Literature and Criticism from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1999, and has published in both literature and management communications.
