Dr. Alireza Mohammadi, PhD., P. Eng., is an expert in civil engineering with extensive experience working in infrastructure design, procurement, construction, and asset management since 2002. He is currently working for Metrolinx as a senior advisor in the asset lifecycle management team to deliver safe and customer-focused services to commuters in Greater Toronto Area. He is also a lecturer teaching infrastructure asset management for graduate students from engineering. Before joining Metrolinx, he was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Toronto, Centre for Information Systems in Infrastructure & Construction. Dr. Mohammadi has an impressive publication track in top-ranked publishers and has received numerous awards and honors in recognition of his achievements in developing and implementing innovative asset management solutions for infrastructure. His work was featured by the media multiple times.
Dr. Luis Amador-Jimenez, PhD., P. Eng., is an Associate Professor at Concordia University where he has taught Pavement Management Systems since 2012. He is a consultant in Transportation Engineering and has developed Road Management Models for Costa Rica, New Brunswick, El Oro (Ecuador), Kindersley, and Montreal, he has worked in the data collection and analysis for Transportation Planning, he was a consultant for Qatar’s Trip Generation and Parking Rates Manual and Road Safety Management Systems. He is the author of over 40 journal papers where he has presented new tools for infrastructure asset management. Dr. Amador loves visiting cities, towns, and villages to discover their history, use their transit, and visit public spaces. He is a big supporter of walking and riding trains.
