Nomoco was born in Japan and currently lives in London. She is a graduate of the London College of Communication and Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design, UK. She has exhibited her work in London, Milan, Tokyo, Singapore and New York. Inspired by nature, she specialises in ink drawing.

Chi-Young Kim is a literary translator based in Los Angeles. A graduate of Wesleyan University, she is the recipient of the Man Asian Literary Prize (2011), the Korea Literature Translation Institute Translation Grant (2011), the Daesan Foundation Translation Grant (2013, 2008, 2005), and the 34th Modern Korean Literature Translation Award (2003).
