Lenora is stunned to eventually discover the man and his mother live in a different time; it is 1865 and Adrian is leaving soon to fight in the War Between the States. She is dismayed to realize she has fallen in love with a man who lived over 150 years ago. During the daylight hours when the cabin has disappeared, Lenora finds a small graveyard on her property. One of the stones belongs to Adrian, and he is going to die in just a few days in 1865. She has to find a way to change history so that Adrian will live. She is willing to give up everything to live with him in his time. But, a complication comes along by the name of Johnny. He is alive and is the spitting image of Adrian. How is she going to decide what to do? Should she go to the cabin under the moon to be with Adrian, or stay in her time to be with Johnny?
