Since old days and till the present time, adults have been frightening children with Boogie Man. When I was a little boy, I loved spending summer evenings, looking at the dark sky. In it, lit a large moon and flying bats. I did not want to sleep, so I took the veil, raised it above my head, and spun it around the room. I used to jump with a blanket on the bed, and then jump out off it. I thought that when bats see how I was trying to fly, they will fly into my room and teach me how to fly. But instead of bats entering my room, my mother entered. I couldn't persuade her in any possible way, to allow me to stay for only an hour to run and jump. After hearing all of my requests, my mother said "Sandy, go to bed, or else Boogie Man will come and take you with him " This was enough for me to quickly jump into bed and cover with a blanket so that I could only see my eyes and red forelock. I always wondered if anyone has ever seen Boogie Man. I asked the parents and the kids in the yard, but they just shook their heads. I've even started to think that Boogie Man was invented, until one day my grandfather told me a story and I want to share it with you, my little friend.
