As young children begin to learn to read, it is essential that they acquire knowledge of High Frequency Words or Sight Words since these words are those most commonly used in the English language. In addition, phonetic analysis cannot be applied to many of these words, and several Sight Words cannot be learned through pictures. Once children master High Frequency Words, they become more fluent and confident readers, and because they will spend less time on decoding, students can focus on comprehension. This unique workbook has been designed to allow beginner readers to learn Sight Words in a relaxed, fun format. Through the use of various puzzles and activities, children have the opportunity to practice each word list for five days.
