What is Satan's goal? Satan could care less about those, who already reject Christ. He could care less about those forms of Christianity, who are no on the right path, the ones that Jesus is going to say to, "'I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.'" Satan and his tens of millions of demonic angels are concerned with true Christianity, and true Christians. It is their goal, to get every Christian to drift away, to fall away, to turn away, to beg off, to become sluggish, to become hardened to the deceptive power of sin, to tire out, and shrink back to destruction. As the Psalm 44:18 states, it should be that our heart never turns back, nor should our steps ever abandon God's way. Spiritual sickness is the moment Satan loves to attack. All of us succumb to spiritual sickness in our walk with God. It is like getting the common cold. We can take all of the precautions we like, but the unexpected event of being in the wrong place and circumstances is going to lead to us catching a cold. The same is true of the spiritual colds as well. Like any cold, we immediate seek treatment and medications, so that it does not become worse. We have physicians to care for our spiritual sicknesses as well. Our physicians are the Feather, Son and Holy Spirit, "God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him." (Acts 10:38)
