One day in the dragon world that starts out as any other, soldiers appear in the distance, flying toward Craig's village. They have come with the news that Craig has won a scholarship to the best dragon school and has to go write an article on something in the human world. As he explores the human world, Craig meets another dragon named River. They decide to journey together. One day both of them wake up after having the same dream and discover that they are on the trail of a legendary amulet that increases the wearer's natural strength and powers.
