Mark Harrison joined the army to gain a trade and some life experience. After almost eighteen years service, he is forced out of the job he loves most, and in the process, he loses everything. Mark moves back to his hometown of Sunderland, and his family welcome him back with open arms. But he struggles to settle back into civilian life, and finds himself dealing with anger issues, depression and his general attitude against society. As he attempts to make his life normal, he is thrown into further turmoil, resulting in quite a brutal fight for what he believes in, and for the safety of his family and friends. Follow Mark's story, and experience the struggles that some of our British Servicemen and women sometimes face when leaving the military way of life. Although this story is fictional, I have called upon my own experiences and knowledge to bring this story together, and I hope I fulfill my aim of lettiing people know of the struggle some ex military personnel face when coming back home for good.
