Danach Aufbau und Leitung des Hauptstadtbüros der Max-Planck-Gesellschaft und Mitarbeit im Berliner Max-Planck-Institut für Wissenschaftsgeschichte. Lebt als freier Publizist bei Berlin. Mehrfach preisgekrönt, ausgezeichnet unter anderem mit dem Egon-Erwin-Kisch-Preis.
