"Decisions of Love" is a novel in which the mundane motives for murder are intertwined with the difficult decisions which must be made by those in love, and those whom love has failed.
When Anne Dalton's husband becomes ill, she demands that his physicians allow him to die, insisting on a death with dignity.
When it is discovered that he has been poisoned, the physicians must then determine whether her expressed opinions have been based on her love for him and her wish to end his suffering, or whether she has a more personal agenda, one motivated by avarice, lust, and egocentric self-interest.
They must within the span of but a few days decide whether to believe her and thus to abide by her wishes and allow him to die, potentially becoming complicit in his murder, or to pursue their suspicions and challenge her fidelity knowing that in so doing, they may be falsely accusing a grieving widow of attempted murder.
