Dr. Rupinder Singh is currently a Professor & Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, National Institute of Technical Teacher Training and Research, Chandigarh. He has received a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology Patiala. His area of research is additive manufacturing, composite filament processing, rapid tooling, metal casting, and plastic solid waste management. He has co-authored more than 450 science citation-indexed research papers, 10 books, and more than 185 book chapters, and has presented more than 100 research papers at various national/international conferences. As per Stanford University, He has been listed among the world's top 2% of scientists.
