3 Secrets + 1 Rumor = 1 Truth: This book is about the story of a self-made man coming from humble beginnings in the east coast who came to California and created a business empire in San Francisco in the auto care industry. It also tells of how devoted he was to special education schools and programs for exceptional needs children and the mentally challenged. In fact, he was labeled as an eccentric because he gave one-half of each dollar he made to charities devoted to these causes. Now twenty-five years later, he hears of a rumor back east about his ex-girlfriends that is really disturbing. Actually, this rumor as told by his best friend and brother states that each of these ladies had given birth to sons which could possibly be his, which was a well-kept secret. This rumor led him on a fact-finding quest to search for the truth to this matter. He actually meets and befriends each of the sons and goes on an action-packed venture and emotionally charged journey to get to the bottom of these secret rumors. AUTHOR BIO Ken Green was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, along with his seven brothers and three sisters. They had always been a close-knit family and enjoyed many years of great family fun. During his years at Westinghouse High School and the University of Pittsburgh he was an active in various student organizations; the Erkons Social Club, the University Theatre Department, the Pittsburgh Black Theatre Dance Ensemble and Theatre Urge. He also worked among many wonderful teachers and students while there including the legendary choreographer, Mr. Bob Johnson, Dr. Curtiss Porter and the Pulitzer Prize winning author and playwright, Mr. August Wilson. He attended Graduate School at CSU-Fresno and became an active member of the Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Incorporated (Gamma Xi and Epsilon Delta Sigma Chapters). He was employed by the Walt Disney Family owned (Retlaw Broadcasting Corporation) television station KJEO-TV (ABC) as a News Photographer. He also worked for radio stations (KFIG, KMGX, KFRY, KFRE) in advertising and marketing. After many wonderful years in the theater, television, radio and the movie industry, he got involved with developing Non-Public Special Education schools for children diagnosed as Severely Emotionally Disturbed and Specific Learning Disordered. This decision was due to an experience he had while visiting his wife's special education classroom which forever changed his life. After this experience he decided to pursue a doctorate degree in Education Administration. He also helped develop four State-certified, Non-Public Special Education schools. As an Education Consultant and Program Administrator, working with social service agencies, schools and the courts, he saw that adults with learning disorders needed as much help as children. Therefore, he enrolled and completed the Adult Education Teacher Credentialing Program at U.C. Berkeley. At present, he teaches GED Prep classes at various adult education programs in California.
