Summary arrest, detention, torture, and even execution are used by Church authorities to maintain their authority and eliminate anyone seen as a potential challenger to their position of power. A new era of poverty and despair face the population. Timothy Roberts has been arrested and brought before the Archbishop on charges of being suspected of being a heretic. He is rescued from a certain horrible death by a clandestine group determined to overthrow those in power and restore freedom and democracy to the United States. He is informed he is vital to the success of their plan. Tim cannot believe he is the key to victory, BUT HE IS. He must play a role for which he and he alone, is qualified. His experience and training while with this group prepare him for his destiny, but no amount of schooling can prepare him for the shock he experiences when he learns why he has been chosen. Secret passages, highly sophisticated tools, near perfect disguises, and close cooperation with others play a part, but the final act depends entirely on Tim. Will Tim be able to overcome his fears, doubts, and feeling of inadequacy to accomplish his mission? The fate of the entire country hangs in the balance. Failure will result in a bloodbath of epic proportions. Success depends on perfectly executing a carefully scripted plan. Can he succeed?
