It continues with the civic role of the company and its interaction with stakeholders. The neo-Kantian and Rawls' models are reviewed as the foundations of a corporate citizenship model. It is followed by the role of social capital and civil society to intermediate between the state and citizens, given the massification of technology. Finally, the limitations of growth, the scope of technology and welfare, define a contour of results, which differ from expectations. The structural weaknesses of the economic model applied in Chile have important consequences in generating an aesthetic gap that is difficult to control within a subnormal reality. The crisis of October 2019 will have consequences yet to be defined.Consequently, the reflection regarding the social implosion of 2019, highlights the risks of social gaps unresolved by the State, and its consequences on expectations. Likewise, it represents a reaction to the inability of the elites to tune in to the reality of the heterogeneities of citizens who do not have access to all the opportunities that the system generates, giving rise to exclusion, frustration and discontent.
