After battling debilitating panic attacks for almost a month, I found myself in a Partial-Hospitalization program, away from my family, for 13 days. There I learned more about myself, and about others struggling as I was, than I could have ever imagined. On my final day of therapy, inspired by a line from Alanis Morissette's song, "Mary Jane," I wrote a poem chronicling my entire experience entitled, "The Last Great Innocent."
