In the 2010s in Berlin, Sahihi encountered young gay men who reminded him of New York in the 1980s. This conceptual series of nude portraits is an homage to his friends of days past and makes a plea for the privilege of living a life in freedom and openness, as well as for tolerance and a sense of belonging.
