N. K. Hasen is an up and coming poet who currently resides in Ohio. After the first book of poetry, "Along A Trodden Path I Travel," N. K. Hasen got some inspiration from Chelsey, the dog to write a book of poetry on dogs. Dogs do so much that sometimes we take them for granted. This book is for all the dogs and owners who love their dogs very much. This collection contains poems about loving dogs to the habits of dogs and much more.

The inspiration for this book came from my library. Our library emailed saying they were going to have poetry month for April and if interested to sign-up. Each day they would email out a Read + Write poetry prompt email. I saw this as an opportunity to take the challenge of writing a poem based on the prompt of each day.
