Zaydan, Amina

AMINA ZAYDEN, born in Suez in 1966, is known for her boldly feminist themes and her fearless scrutiny of gender norms. She is the author of two novels and a collection of short stories. Red Wine was awarded the 2007 Naguib Mahfouz Medal for Literature.
