CP Patrick holds a B.A. in Africana Studies from the University of South Florida, M.A. in African Studies from The Ohio State University, and J.D from Stetson University College of Law. CP Patrick enjoys writing fiction and fantasy interwoven with the African diasporic experience. She lives in Washington, DC with her husband and daughter. The Truth About Awiti is her debut novel.
