Marilyn Parker-Jeffries is a life-long resident of Lorain, Ohio. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Corrections from Kent State University. She was employed by Lorain County Domestic Relations Court and served in numerous capacities as a Probation Officer, Group Home Director, Program Manager until retiring as Director of Support Services after 30 years of service. She received a Masters of Arts in Practical Theology from Ashland Theological Seminary majoring in Homiletics and Black Church Studies.
