Horace Mungin is an author, poet from the Black Arts Movement period and he is avid gardener. His work has been published in journals, magazine and anthologies. He has written 9 books. He was an early anti-drug activist and his collection of anti-drug poems Dope Hustler's Jazz won an award from the Negro Book Club, Inc in 1968.
