North, Joan

Joan North was born in New York and lived on an ashram and a Zen Center for eighteen years. She enjoys writing, painting, photography and traveling and currently lives with her two cats in St. Augustine, Florida. Published work Joan's short stories were published in The Florida Writer (2011, 2013) and the Florida Writers Association's anthology It's a Crime as one of the top ten entries (2013). Two stories were selected as finalists in Florida's Royal Palms Literary Awards Competition (2012).
