Newcomb, Kenneth W.

Ken Newcomb, a lifelong resident and community activist of Newton Upper Falls, devoted many years of his life in compiling this definitive local history of the village he loved. Over the years, Mr. Newcomb was actively involved in nearly every Upper Falls community effort. He was a member of the Upper Falls Advisory Committee, president of the Upper Falls Improvement Association. In the 1970's he was a fervent advocate for the establishment of Newton's first Local Historic District in Newton Upper Falls.
