Litinskaya, Yelena

Yelena Litinskaya was born in Moscow. She graduated from the Moscow State University with the Master's degree in Slavic Languages and Literature. In Russia she published a few poetry translations from Czech. In 1979 Yelena immigrated into the United States. She returned to writing in 1980's. She then published 6 books of poetry, short stories and memoirs: Monologue of The Last Snow (1992), In Search of Me" (2002), At The Canal (2002), Through The Time Distance (2011), A Dollar for Subway (2012), From Spiridonovka To Sheepshead Bay (2013).
