Carol Knapp was a veteran reporter for several midwest newspapers before switching gears to become a marketing staff writer for a southwest Michigan community college and, later on, a St. Joseph, Michigan hospital. She lives in Lincoln Township, Michigan with her husband, Larry and their dog, Susie.
