Knitting small things such as baby hats and tea cozies has been a lifelong interest for Lee Ann Garrett of Ontario, Canada. "My grandmother put my first set of knitting needles in my hands when I was just 10 years old. I designed and knit my own Barbie doll clothes." Ten years ago, the now-retired registered nurse started making baby hats. "I have turned it into a full-time business and sell my hats at local farmer's markets, craft shows, specialty boutiques, and on-line," she says.
