Elizabeth Anne Freeman was born and raised in upstate New York. She trained as a nurse at Albany Medical Center School of Nursing in Albany, New York. After serving an LDS mission to Taiwan, she worked as an R.N. specializing in oncology and hospice care. She gave up her career in nursing to become a full time mother and homemaker. She is a happily married mother of three daughters and two sons, all of whom are grown and on their own.
