Althaus, Voy Ernst

Voy Ernst Althaus, born on October 3, 1926, at home in Gillespie County, Texas, was the second child to Marlin Ernst Althaus and Lena Reams Althaus. After growing up on the family ranch near Willow City, Texas, Voy graduated from Fredericksburg High School in 1944. He earned his bachelors degree in Geology from University of Texas at El Paso in 1949 after serving in the Army at the end of World War II.
