Youth and Adult Education (EJA) is a type of education, part of an educational and social policy that can provide social inclusion conditions for students to continue their studies in order to improve the quality of their personal and professional lives with conditions for a dignified life. Understanding that the EJA requires motivation, self-determination on the part of both students and teachers, the teaching-learning process has an andragogical profile and that it is necessary to consider the reality of the context in which the students are inserted. In this way, this study contributes to scientific research by discovering that the discussion of dropout in the EJA still has a thriving field of research.
