The main purpose of this paper is to analyze some of the processes of subjectivation that are evident in the ways Facebook users make use of the timeline feature. Starting from this general objective, the text is structured around two axes of investigation: a first, which is formed around the discourses that accompany the launch of the timeline - which gives the Facebook interface a "narrative" character - seeking to understand the conditions under which a relationship between the Facebook interface and narrative cultural forms can be established; a second, which advances on the modes of self-representation carried out through the use of the Facebook timeline, leading to a reflection on the role of digital media in the processes of subjectivity production today.
