In this case study, the researcher analyzed the perceptions of providers and recipients of education at a mid-size southwestern university in the US in order to explore the extent to which institutions of higher education have integrated foreign graduate education on their programs. Program administrators, faculty members, current and alumni foreign graduate students participated in the study through focus group discussions, direct interviews, researcher- created surveys and document analysis. It was recommended that the institution elevate the quality of graduate education, research and scholarship, on campus and in the community. Second, it must comprehensively establish goals and objectives for internationalizing and curricula and programs in its strategic planning. Third, it must establish and increase partnerships with overseas schools, sending countries, and strengthen ties with foreign graduate alumni. Fourth, the institution must improve academic and social supports for foreign graduate students. Finally, the school must create incentives for faculty research and scholarship in support of graduate and professional education.
