Susanna or Shoshanna was in the original copies of the book of Daniel as the 13th Chapter which was translated from Papyrus 967 from the 3rd century. It is found also in the Septuagint dating back to 150 AD as part of the Hebrew book of Daniel. in the middle ages it was included in Roman Catholic and Eastern Orthodox churches versions of scriptures. It is one of the additions to Daniel, considered apocryphal by Protestants. Yet this book deals with an important passage of Torah Law from Deut.19 and tells the story of how the Prophet Daniel had sat over a matter as judge when a young married woman named in Hebrew ShoShanna was accused falsely.
