Every family being different from other provides a wide variety of living arrangements & experiences for the child .The life of a disabled child is interwoven with that of his family. The way the parents & siblings treat a disabled child is a reflection of the attitude they have for disability.

Rauf Ahmad Thoker holds a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Education from Kashmir University. He has done his Masters in Sociology from Ignou and holds a PhD in Sociology from Barkatullah University Bhopal M.P. India. He has spent two and half years Diploma in Rehabilitation from Composite Regional Center Bemina Srinaga.
