Dr. phil. Wolfgang Wagner ist wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter der Hessischen Stiftung Friedens- und Konfliktforschung. Stefan Dech, geb. 1960, leitet seit 1998 das Deutsche Fernerkundungsdatenzentrum (DFD) im Deutschen Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt. Parallel dazu ist er seit 2001 Universitätsprofessor an der Universität Würzburg und leitet dort den Lehrstuhl für Fernerkundung am Geographischen Institut.
