Understanding the creation of Goiânia from a Protestant religious perspective is a challenging project, as there is a scarcity of sources from the period. The new city was influenced by several different cultures, including Protestant culture. The new model of faith changes the way religion is viewed, as Protestantism has the peculiar characteristic of bringing God directly to man without intermediaries. This paper attempts to explore how Protestants arrived in the city of Goiânia and how they established themselves there.
