This is a book of poetry. The subjects are mixed, some personal, others observations and some from the heart. I think that there is something here for everyone. I really enjoyed these poems, being unpretentious, direct, to the point, with very relevant messages expressed with disarming sincerity and often with unexpected humour, though there is a lingering sadness that imparts a depth of feeling. The startling common-sense is refreshing, but what touched me most was the way the poet reaches out, and is aware, of a higher presence of love. If you see his poem Footprints in the Sand as the voice of the Saviour, or Comforter, addressing the reader seeking guidance and help, it takes on a very powerful dimension. Charles Muller. Editor
